BROOKLYN, New York - HUMAN GALLERY NYC presents Synchronicity,

a solo exhibition of photographic works by LA-based artist Luke

Dobron. Featuring 25 hand-framed pieces shot over several years

and throughout various countries, the exhibition is laced

together with particular emphasis on color. With the concept of

synchronicity in mind, the show’s curator Paige Silveria,

assembled groupings of images whose colorations are

meaningfully related with no apparent causal connection. One

is able to see parallels in photos that were taken on opposite

sides of the earth and at divergent states of mind. These

interactions are highlighted further with the introduction of

complementary hues on the walls of the gallery, as well as with

the relationships of micro-groupings and their tether to larger

singular pieces.

In partnership with RVCA a 32-page book, which continues the

exploration of synchronicity and it’s relation to the oeuvre,

will be available at the show’s opening and later online and with select bookstores.
